IRS not mailing paper forms this year
The IRS will no longer be mailing paper income tax forms and instructions to taxpayers. With the increase in electronic filing options, including free options, they have decided to cut the expense of mailing out all those paper packets.
If you prefer paper forms over electronic filing, or (like me) you prefer to write out a draft before filling in the online forms, you will still be able to get paper forms at your local library. We’ll have the most popular forms available as always, and if we don’t have it you can go online to www.irs.gov and print the forms you need (at the library it costs 15 cents per page to print).
