National Health Observances
In surfing around for a post topic this morning, I came across this list of national health observances from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.
It may be a little late, but if you’re lucky enough to have not gotten dressed yet today, you should know that today is National Wear Red Day. Wearing red today is about drawing attention to the danger of heart disease for women.
Today is also Give Kids a Smile Day. Dentists around the country are providing free oral care services to low-income children today. And even if you can’t get to a participating dentist today, this site offers information on getting dental care for kids at low cost any day of the year.
