Be safe this holiday weekend
The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays, and not only for the barbecue. I’ve always liked getting to stay up late and watch the fireworks displays, and now I get to take my own kids to do the same.
If you choose to use fireworks at home, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has some safety tips for you. Fireworks cause thousands of injuries every year, many very serious. And no one wants to spend the holiday in the emergency room, missing out on the picnic.
